About Fonts

1. I cannot see myanmar characters properly. How can I do?
   We design our site to be best viewed with IE6+. With IE6+, font installation is not necessary. But, with other browsers (such as opera, firefox), you need to download myanmar font and install it. Although you have installed it already and still have the problem, please follow the instructions mentioned below.
   For IE users, Clear temporary internet files by clicking ‘Delete files’ with ‘Delete all offline content’ option from Tools>Internet option menu of IE.
   For other browser users, If you see Zawgyi-One font at Control Panel>Fonts, delete it first. And then download the Zawgyi-One font by clicking ‘Download Myanmar Font’ from our site menu and copy it to Control Panel>Fonts. If it is not installed already, first download the Zawgyi-One font by clicking ‘Download Myanmar Font’ from our site menu and copy it to Control Panel>Fonts. 

   And, you can also fix font problems for following symptoms.
(Symptom-1) I see squares or circles instead of Myanmar characters.
Solution: It is caused by absence of Zawgyi-One Font or web page encoding setting is not set to Unicode (UTF-8). For the absence of Zawgyi-One Font, you need to download and install Zawgyi-One Font from our Myanmar Home Page. To change web page encoding setting, right click on the web page and click Encoding and then select Unicode (UTF-8). (Note- Changing encoding setting may vary depending on browser type. Above instruction is only for IE.)
(Symptom-2) I see Myanmar characters but they are not legible.
Solution: It is caused by Zawgyi-One font version. There are many versions for Zawgyi-One fonts. If your installed Zawgyi-One font version is not the same with ours, you will encounter this problem. There are 2 ways to fix it.
(1) Delete your installed Zawgyi-One font and then install Zawgyi-One font at our Myanmar Home Page.
(2) Visit our site only with IE. As we mention above, IE will automatically download and use Zawgyi-One font from our site whatever you have different version of it.
